The Career Center serves as a clearing house for no-cost worker recruitment services, government training initiatives, as well as on-the-job training and apprentice programs.

Penquis Higher Education Center The Higher Education Center offers credit courses in many different fields including general business and business administration. The Supervisor Development Series, created by area manufacturers, is hosted by the Center. There are conference rooms and classrooms available for training sessions and workshops. In addition, the Center can provide worker training programs that are general or customized to meet the needs of a business.
