Albany, NY - With Bentley Prince Street at 100% renewable electricity and significant achievements in other Americas based business units, Interface, Inc. was today honored with a Green Power Leadership Award presented by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and the Center for Resource Solutions (CRS) at the National Green Power Marketing Conference. Interface was nominated for the award by the World Resources Institute (WRI) and was recognized for its efforts to significantly advance development of the green power market through green power purchases. "Green power purchases are a key strategy in achieving our global goals for renewable energy," said Mike Bertolucci, Ph.D., president, Interface Research Corporation and senior vice president, Interface, Inc. "Interface’s ten year commitment to sustainability has been marked by tremendous progress on this front. The national green power market is growing in response to demand from companies like ours that have identified and embraced the importance of creating green power markets.
