PCEDC Quarterly Meeting to Discuss Tourism Initiatives

The Piscataquis County Economic Development Council (PCEDC) will be holding their summer quarterly meeting on Monday, June 8th, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Trailside Restaurant & Lounge in Greenville (directions to the venue can be obtained by contacting the PCEDC).

The panel discussion topic will be “Tourism Mapping and Itinerary Initiatives.” Speakers will include: Bob Hamer from the Moosehead Lake Region Chamber of Commerce (presenting on the Moosehead Lake Mapping Program); Terry Knowles and Scott Snell from the Piscataquis Tourism Development Authority (presenting on the Nature Tourism Initiative); and Bryan Wentzell from the Appalachian Mountain Club (presenting on Piscataquis County Community-Based Mapping).

Registration fee for the event is $20.00 per person. RSVPs are due by May 29th and can be left with Thomas Kittredge, PCEDC Executive Director, at tkittredge@pcedc.org or by calling 1-800-539-0332. Please indicate your meal choice with your RSVP (either Baked Haddock with Twice-Baked Potato, Baked Haddock with Rice, Rolled Chicken with Cranberry Stuffing and Twice-Baked Potato, Rolled Chicken with Cranberry Stuffing and Rice, or Vegetarian Linguini Primavera). A cash bar will also be available.

The Piscataquis County Economic Development Council is a countywide organization whose mission is to stimulate long-term sustainable economic development and growth throughout the region.
